Teens most embarrassing moments



There are various diet products available in the market that offer diets for teens. Each one of them claim to be able to help teenagers achieve fast weight loss. However, these diets never mention the fact that, for teenagers to achieve weight loss they will have to endure a few side effects.

For you to be able to lose weight with the approach you are now using, first you need to comprehend the meaning of rapid weight loss. Most people do not know that the meaning of rapid weight loss is “losing body muscles at a fast rate” and not losing body fat.

This is the major cause why most teens can lose weight fast when they use a fad diet. The weight loss due to loss of lean body muscles, is unfortunately not lasting. This is simply because by losing lean body muscles, our metabolic rate will be lowered.

So why do we lose body muscle in the first place? Because fad diets will force our body to switch to starvation mode in order to preserve energy. Instead of burning calories for energy, our body will burn muscles. Because our body metabolic rate is lowered, our body could not burn much calories and this will make us gain weight.
